Who we are
Piklo Volunteer is an app for associations, volunteers and event coordination. The data controller is Piklo (see the contact page at piklovolunteer.com/contact).
What information we process
Account details: name, email address and an optional profile picture. Optional: phone number and address if you choose to fill them in. Activity: memberships, tasks you take or are assigned, events, messages on tasks, points and badges, and notifications. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we only receive your name and email from them — never your password.
What we use the information for
Solely to provide the app's features: coordinating volunteer tasks and events in your associations, notifications and invitations. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
Processing is based on our agreement with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in running a secure service ((1)(f)).
Where your data is stored
Data is stored with Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Emails are sent via Resend. The website is hosted with Vercel. These providers only process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. If you request deletion, your personal data is deleted 30 days later; logging in again before then cancels it. Anonymized activity (e.g. that a task was completed) may be retained for the association's records.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your information and object to the processing. Contact us via the contact page — you can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
Cookies
We only use necessary cookies: your login session and your language choice. No tracking or marketing cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, cookie-free visitor statistics.
Changes
We update this policy when needed and change the date at the top. Significant changes are announced in the app.
